AmuwoCarol 2025

As part of its year-end ConnectCharity projects, the Symphony of Praise Initiative (SOP Initiative) is set to host AmuwoCarol 2025, a community-centered Christmas celebration rooted in gratitude, unity, and service.

Now in its 20th year as a movement and building on the AmuwoCarol tradition that began in 2008, this year’s edition carries the theme “Generational Gratitude,” inspired by Psalm 78:4:
“We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the Lord…”

AmuwoCarol 2025 is more than a carol service. It is a platform where generations come together, founders, current leaders, and a new wave of young volunteers, each passing on the values of faith, service, and community responsibility. Over the years, leadership within SOP Initiative has intentionally transitioned from one generation to another, mirroring the very message this year’s theme seeks to communicate.

Through music, storytelling, and acts of kindness, AmuwoCarol continues to serve as a tool for community bonding and charitable expression within Amuwo Odofin and its environs. The event also reinforces SOP Initiative’s broader mission to promote love, unity, and collective responsibility, especially during the Christmas season.

AmuwoCarol 2025 will once again provide an avenue for giving back, strengthening communal ties, and celebrating the true essence of Christmas, gratitude to God and compassion for one another.

ConnectCharity invites partners, volunteers, and supporters to be part of this meaningful celebration as we honour the past, empower the present, and inspire the next generation.
